Liquid Molly is a grunge band hailing from Gistel, Belgium. The band features Milan Verdoolaeghe on guitar and vocals, Stan Ameloot on bass, and Michiel Jonckheere on drums. Despite their young ages—Milan and Stan at 19, and Michiel at 20—they have crafted a sound reminiscent of 1990s grunge, characterized by powerful riffs and emotive vocals.
In the 2021-2022 season, Liquid Molly reached the finals of Sound Track, a notable Belgian music competition, where they won the audience award. They have performed at various venues and festivals, including Leffingeleuren, Dranouter Busker Stage, and the Pinguin Radio Showcases during ESNS 2024 in Groningen. Their debut single, “Consequences,” released in 2023, was praised by Luminous Dash for its authentic grunge sound and impressive composition. They followed up with their second single, “Keep Going,” later that year.
Liquid Molly continues to make waves in the Belgian music scene, delivering energetic performances and staying true to their grunge roots.
On April 25th, they will present their debut EP “Apparently Healthy” at De Zwerver (Leffinge) that will be digitally released by Polderrecords on all major streaming services and Bandcamp.
